Helen G Larson

Helen G. Larson, 91, of Wilmington Delaware, formerly of Rotterdam died Friday February 5, 2010 at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware. Born in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Alma (Johnson) George. Helen was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and the Albany Business College. She was employed as a Secretary for the General Electric Company in Schenectady. Helen was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church in Schenectady. She was a member of the Rotterdam Senior Citizens. Helen was a Western Square Dancer in the area and a member of the Helderberg Twirlers Square Dance Club. She is survived by her husband Ernest H. Larson of Wilmington, Del. whom she married September 5, 1942, one son Glenn G. Larson (Holly) of Punta Gorda, Fl., one daughter Christine L. Laudorn (Bernd) of Newark, Del., also survived by four grandchildren-Hans Laudorn(Nicole),Lloyd Laudorn ( Karen), Nicole Larson and Alex Larson as well as four great grandchildren-Tyler Laudorn, Carter Laudorn, Ava Laudorn and Soren Laudorn. Funeral Services will be Wednesday February 17, 2010 at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be from 10-11AM prior to the service. Internment will be at 1:30PM at Lynwood Cemetery, Conklingville, NY..
