Helen Dergosist

Helen Dergosits of Curry Road in Colonie peacefully passed away in her 100th year on Thursday September 29, 2005 at St. Clares Hospital in Schenectady. Helen was born in Germany. She was the daughter of the late John Bikowitz and Katherine (Waube) Bikowitz. Helen came to the United States in 1912 with her family. She was a homemaker. Helen was a member of St. Gabriel's Church in Rotterdam. She was a member of the Mont Pleasant Senior Citizens, the St. Paul's Church Senior Citizens and Girls Inc. Helen is predeceased by her husband Emerich J. Dergosits whom she married August 27, 1927.She is survived by two sons Emery J. Dergosits of Colonie and Frank R. Dergosits (Marilyn) of Voorhesville, one daughter Eileen F. Durrer of Colonie, one sister Eleanor Draper of Westmere also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Monday 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Sunday evening 6-8PM at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Schenectady.
