Helen E Lazzari (Carrieri)

Helen Carrieri Lazzari entered peacefully into the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, while at home in the presence of her family.

Helen was a communicate of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for over 70 years, as well as being a lifelong member of the Church's Women's Society.

She was a devoted and much loved daughter,sister,wife,aunt,grandmother,great grandmother and friend!

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Michael Anthony (Miggs) Lazzari.

Helen is survived by her sister Katherine Fanales, her children Michele Damelio, Retired Officer Joe Lazzari and wife Susan, Maria DeMartino, several nieces and nephews and 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Public visitation and viewing will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 1255 Pleasant Street, Schenectady on Tuesday January. 22. 2019 from 12:30-1:30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30PM.

Interment will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant St. Schenectady, New York 12303 or A "Random Act of Kindness" on behalf of Helen's legacy.
