Helen McQuade Best 99 passed away at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center on Friday July 29, 2022.
Born and educated in Amsterdam, Helen was the daughter of the late John and Helena (Savitskas) McQuade.
A former employee for over 31 years of the General Electric Company, Helen enjoyed traveling.
Predeceased in 2011 by her beloved husband of 58 years Michael Best, Helen was also predeceased by her siblings, Anthony McQuade, Joseph McQuade, Frances Kaupelis, Anne Secky and Mary Kimball.
Survivors include her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Services are private.
Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park next to her husband Michael.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Shriners Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts.
