Hazel V. Grob, 91, of Trinity Avenue, Rotterdam died Monday March 20, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital. She was born in Albany, NY and was the daughter of the late Albert Vadney and Florence (Mull) Vadney. Hazel was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bellevue Reformed Church in Schenectady. Hazel volunteered at the church as a Sunday school teacher, a Visiting Deacon, Service Secretary, and worked in the Church Kitchen serving many dinners at the Church. She enjoyed Gardening, Cooking, Traveling and Reading. Hazel is predeceased by her husband Conrad Grob whom she married in June of 1941, one brother Roy Vadney, and two sisters Mildred Roy and Laura Eveleigh. Survivors include one son James C. Grob (Connie) of Altamont, one daughter Susan Wheeler of Galway, 3 grandchildren-Cindy Norris (Robert), Andrew Wheeler Jr. (Judy) and Stephen Grob, 5 Great Grandchildren as well as several nephews. Funeral Services will be Friday 12 noon at the Bellevue Reformed Church 2000 Broadway Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hour will be held from 11AM to 12 noon at the church. Internment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
