Gregory J Brown

Gregory J. Brown, 53, of Schenectady passed away suddenly on Monday January 8, 2018 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Ogden, Utah, he was the son of Wayne Brown of Rotterdam and the late Roberta (Barrett) Brown. Greg received his bachelor's degree in science from the University of Albany, achieving high honors. Following graduation, he attended western New England Law School. Greg was a devoted Boston Red Sox and Miami Dolphins fan. He always lived life as if tomorrow was his last. He also enjoyed cold Pepsi and the ocean. He will be dearly missed. Greg is survived by his wife Allison (Werner) Brown, his daughters Ashley and Katelynn Brown, his father Wayne Brown, his sister Lisa Dunston, godparents Carol and Chuck Shepard, his nieces Alisha Victoria and Hailey, nephew Salvatore and cousin David Shepard. He is also survived by his special companion Michele Bombard. Greg is predeceased by his mother Roberta Brown and sister Deborah Brown. A Celebration of Greg's life will be Tuesday January 16, 2018 at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling hours will be Tuesday 9:30-11AM prior to the service.
