Glenn J. Dunlavey 82 of Rotterdam died at his home on Thursday evening June 25, 2009. Born in Rotterdam, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elinor (Taylor) Dunlavey and a graduate of Draper High School. A World War II Marine Corp veteran, Glenn worked as a machinist at the Gazette Newspapers for over 36 years before his retirement in 1991. An outdoorsman, Glenn was an avid hunter and fishing enthusiast that also enjoyed golf. He was a former member of Trinity Reformed Church and the Rotterdam Elks. Glenn is survived by his cousins Kenneth and Betty Dunlavey ,Florida and his dear friends, Bruce and Arlene Loucks of Rotterdam Charles and Judith Loucks of Florida, Dan and Joni Loucks of Howes Caves and H. William and Beverly Loucks of Ravena. Funeral service will be held Tuesday morning June 30, 2009 at 11am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11am prior to the funeral service. Internment in Parkview Cemetery.
