Genevieve A Friello

Genevieve A. Friello 82 of Rotterdam died peacefully Thursday morning June 21, 2007 surrounded by her family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Zannitto) D'Alessandris and was also predeceased by a brother Henry D'Alessandris. A homemaker, Genevieve attended Mont Pleasant High School and later worked for the Mohawk Lining Company in Schenectady for 17 years. A member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Genevieve loved family vacations in Old Orchard Beach, ME and enjoyed going to the casinos. Devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren she is survived by husband, Ralph A. Friello, her children Linda Marie Beeble (Gary) of Guilderland and Ralph J. Friello (Karen) of Rotterdam Junction, her grandchildren, Mark J. Bankowski, Gregory S. Bankowski, Anthony Friello and Ashlynn Friello, her brothers Vincent and Anthony D'Alessandris both of Rotterdam and Nancy Nardini of Rotterdam and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning June25, 2007 at 8:15am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY followed at 9 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant Street, Schenectady, NY 12303. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening June 24, 2007 at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm. Interment in St Cyril's Cemetery, Rotterdam, NY Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Red Cross, 33 Everett Road, Albany 12205.
