F. Warren Grindrod 94 of Ashley River Road, formerly of Queensbury died Monday November 15, 2004 at home after a short illness. Born and educated at Classical High School in Lynn, MA he was the son of the late John and Mary (Condon) Grindrod. A graduate of the General Electric apprentice course, Warren worked for the GE in Lynn, MA and later worked in Schenectady as a manager of Medium Induction Motors until his retirement. He was a member of the General Electric ? century club, Queensbury Golf Club, Our Lady of the Annunciation Church where he was also a Eucharistic minister. Warren was predeceased in 1982 by his wife of 46 years Alice (Kennedy) Grindrod who he married June 6, 1936. He was also predeceased by his brother John Grindrod, his sister Elizabeth Gannon and his two son-in-laws, Peter T. Donnelly and Arthur J. Fogerty. Survivors include three daughters; Julie A. Donnelly of Charleston, SC., Mary Jane Fogerty of Skaneateles, NY and Paula DiCenzo of Charleston, SC., a brother Richard Grindrod and wife Patricia of Lynn, MA, nine grandchildren; Daniel Donnelly of Reston, VA, Katy Erin Miller and husband Michael of Salisbury, MD, Mark Fogerty of Syracuse, Tara Harris and husband James of Syracuse, Matthew Fogerty and wife Rose of Skaneateles, Shannon Chisholm and husband Kenneth of Groveland, MA, Joshua Hale of Somerville, MA, Megan Akin and husband Christopher of Camillus, NY and Daniel DiCenzo of Williamstown, MA, seven great grandchildren; Samantha, Theresa and Alexander Miller, Bradford, Abbey and Mia Harris and Seamus Fogerty and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday morning November 19, 2004 at 9:30 am at Singleton Healy Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY followed at 10 am at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the Singleton Healy Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Internment in Pine View Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Warren's Memory to the Peter T. Donnelly Scholarship Fund c/o Ken Minges, 54 Sheridan St., GlensFalls, NY or to the Prospect School, Queensbury, NY or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home in Schenectady,NY
