Frederick C Pareis

Frederick C. Pareis, 81, of Clifton Park died on Wednesday April 9, 2008 at Mary's Haven in Saratoga Springs. Born in Malden on the Hudson, he was the son of the late Howard and Melvina (Davis) Pareis. Frederick is a graduate of the Albany Business College. He served in the US Navy. Frederick was employed as a Manager for the Knolls Atomic Power Lab in Niskayuna, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Cotillion Dance Group. Frederick enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He is predeceased by one brother Howard Pareis. Frederick is survived by his loving wife Mary McDougall Pareis whom he married April 27, 1957, one son Glen Pareis (Robin) of Altamont, two daughters Judy Helmer (Stephen) of Wichita, Kansas, Nancy Keogh (Dennis) of Tokoyo, Japan, also survived by 10 Grandchildren-Eric, Nicholas, Ross and John Pareis, Katie, Kristin and Jordan Helmer and Brendan, Kyle and Cameron Keogh , as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday 3PM at the Christ Community Church 1010 Route 146 in Clifton Park. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A calling hour will be on Monday 2-3PM at the church. Internment will be on Tuesday at 10AM at Memory's Garden in Colonie.
