Frederick J. "Doc" Fegley 79 died Friday January 7, 2005 at home in Charlton. Bone June 10, 1925 in Quakertown, PA to Frederick and Florence (Berger) Fegley. He is survived by his wife Joanne Knisley Fegley and two daughters, Tracy Zink(jerry) of Schoharie and Dianne Good(Edward) of Jupiter, FA ,three grandchildren, Daniel Cieszynski, Stacie Cieszynski Watrous and Cody Zink. Fred also leaves behind a brother, Donald Fegley and a sister Marguerite Rothroth. Doc retired from the General Electric Knolls Atomic Power Lab in Niskayuna after 37 years of Service and received an award for Meritorious Service. Doc was a General Class Amateur radio operator (KA2MTI) as well as holding a general Radiotelephone Operator License. He was one of the first in the northeast authorized to repair citizen band radios, working out of his home workshop, of which he was very proud. People came from all around to have their radios repaired. Doc was a creative inventor of all sorts of electronic devices. He worked in his shop right up until the day of his passing. Doc was an avid sportsman with a great love of the outdoors, living life to the fullest. He was a lifetime member of the "Red Bus Hunting Camp" north of Speculator, NY. Memorial services will be held private. The family requests that flowers not be sent and contributions be made to the Ballston Lake Emergency Squad, P.O.
