Frederick J Davidson

From Airman, to husband, to baker, to father, Pop was his favorite title. Frederick J. Davidson passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, March 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Born on January 13, 1943 in Weehawken, New Jersey to James and Catherine Davidson. Years later, Fred made his way to Burnt Hills, NY where he met the love of his life in the tenth grade and together, they shared 58 beautiful years.

Fred is survived by his wife Rose A. Davidson, his 2 wonderful children Kathleen Davidson-O’Beirne, James (Dierdre) Davidson and his 5 grandchildren, Frederick Davidson (Cara Cristello), Danyelle Davidson (Garrett Hamilton), Matthew (Freya) O’Beirne, Kelsey Davidson and Jenna Davidson.

Along with his parents, Fred is predeceased by his brother Richard Davidson and his twin sister Maryanne Brown.

Fred will be remembered for his love of spending time with his family, teaching his grandchildren all he knew about baking, enjoying a NASCAR race and umpiring for 40+ years, especially the games his grandsons played in. Every now and then you’d catch him enjoying a Manhattan with his son.

A small private gathering will be held on Saturday at the family’s home at 1:00pm for immediate relatives and close friends.
