Fred F Wilson

Fred Francis Wilson, 88 of Rotterdam died Tuesday Morning June 13, 2006 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Sumner and Ida (Fleischer) Wilson and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Fred worked for the General Electric Company for over 40 years before retiring as a wirer with Large Motor and Generator. An avid outdoorsman Fred enjoyed camping boating fishing and hunting in the Adirondacks. Fred was predeceased in 2002 by his beloved wife of 59 years Grace (Butler) Wilson and also a brother Sumner Wilson.He was the cherished father of Gail Nicholas(Daniel) of Schenectady, Marlene Ostrowski of Tamworth, NH, Linda Andreine(James) of Rotterdam and Mark J. Wilson (Judy)of Princetown. Fred was the devoted grandfather of nine grandchildren and was adored by his 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 niece and 3 nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning June 17, 2006 at 10 am at Bond Funeral Home , Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held Friday evening June 16, 2006 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Clifton Park Village Cemetery.
