Francis Lane

Francis W. Lane, 88, formerly of Poland, NY died October 23, 2007 at his home after a short illness with his family at his side. Born in the Town of Russia, NY on April 18, 1919, Francis was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Folnsbee) Lane. He was a graduate of Poland High School. Francis was employed for over 37 years as a Spot Welder for the Frederick's Corporation in Utica, retiring in 1981. He is predeceased by his sister Iva Bienick. Francis is survived by his wife of 62 years Dorothy Lane, his daughter and son in law Patricia and Paul Bahrmann of Schenectady, two Grandchildren-Alisha Bahrmann of Schenectady and Chad Bahrmann (Nicole) of State College, PA, one Great Grandchild-Paul Bahrmann, One Brother in Law Stuart (Edna) Furner, two Sister in Laws-Betty and Mary Furner, also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Private Funeral Service will be held at the Convenience of the Family at Poland Cemetery in Poland, NY.
