Frances A Zieber

Frances A. Zieber, 78, of Schenectady passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a long illness on Friday April 4th at Columbia Co. Memorial Hospital in Hudson. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late John and Amy (Wilson) Kyme. Frances was employed as a Matron for the Schenectady City School District, retiring in 1992. She is predeceased by her husband Harry L. Zieber, one step daughter Jill Vining, one brother Phillip Kyme and two sisters Ruby Kyme Meyers and Ruth Kyme. Her will and strength will be an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Frances adored all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She is survived by two sons Harry Zieber (Kelly) of Rotterdam, and Raymond Hollenbeck (Nancy) of Schenectady, one daughter Sandra LaVallee of Rotterdam, one sister Rita Webster (Robert) of Catskill 9 Grandchildren-Amy McKelvey (Chris), Robert Trafton, Thomas LaVallee (Laurie), Courtney Zieber and Jack Zieber, Nancy Ann Hollenbeck, Pamela Hollenbeck,Christine Howard, Anita Vachon also survived by 2 Great Grandchildren Nicole Posluszny and Connor McKelvey as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Monday evening 5-7PM at the funeral home. Internment will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.
