Frances Aveline Saddlemire 93 died Saturday afternoon May 28, 2005 at St. Clares Hospital after a short illness. Born in Baltimore, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jeptha and Myrtha (Parrish) Keller. A 1931 graduate of Liberty Union High School, Frances worked for Doctor Arony as a housekeeper for many years before she retired. She was a life member of the YWCA, the Baltimore Travel Club and the Fisher United Methodist Church. Frances was a former member of the United Brethren Church in Baltimore, where she attended several teaching courses to teach Sunday school. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Frances was predeceased in 1981 by he husband Leland Saddlemire whom she married on March 29,1947. Survivors include her son Alan L. Saddlemire and his wife Anita of Delanson, a brother; Robert Keller and wife Virginia of Columbus, Ohio, two grandchildren; James A. Saddlemire of Rotterdam and Sharon A. Mendez and husband Serafin of Guilderland Center and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon June 1, 2005 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Internment will be in Gallupville Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Frances memory to the Fisher United Methodist Church, Helderberg Avenue at Curry Road, Schenectady, NY 12306
