Frances M. Cooper, 94, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 4, 2026.
Born on November 16, 1931, in Schenectady, New York, Frances was the beloved daughter of the late Dominic Di Lorenzo and Angelina (Ferraro) Di Lorenzo.
At the age of 19, Frances married the love of her life, Earl Cooper. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion, raising five children whom Frances cherished with all her heart. Following Earl's retirement, they relocated to
Zephyrhills, Florida, where they happily made their home for 25 years.
For the past 15 years, Frances worked alongside her daughter as an assistant at her daycare. To the countless children who came through its doors, she was known simply as "Grandma," offering love, comfort, and kindness to every child she met. Frances will be remembered for the unconditional love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found great joy in shopping, entertaining, baking, and cooking, making every holiday and family gathering warm and unforgettable. She was the heart of her family—the one who held everyone together with her wisdom, heartfelt stories, endless encouragement, and the comforting promise that no one would ever leave her home without a full meal or a sweet treat.
Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband, Earl Cooper; her son, Jeffrey A. Cooper; her sister, Louise Bushman; her brother, Anthony Di Lorenzo; and her son-in-law, Frank Rapp.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Gary Cooper of Florida, Donna Ingersoll, Mark Cooper, and Dawn CooperRapp; her sisters, Annette Dodge-Dlugolecki and Roselyn
Richards; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Frances's legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered
