Floyd A. Christman Jr. 82 of Red Oak Drive formerly of Schenectady died Thursday June 16, 2005 at home after a short illness. Born in Cobleskill, NY, Floyd was the son of the late Floyd and Ethel Mae Christman. A World War II Navy veteran, Floyd moved from Schenectady to Texas in 1997. He was a contract work inspector and custodial general Forman for General Service Administration in Albany before retiring in 1988. Floyd was predeceased by his wife Lois G. (Mattice) Christman and two stepsons; William F. and Richard H. Christman. Survivors include a son, Michael Christman of Lewisville, TX and a daughter Carole D. Audi of Loudonville, three brothers; Robert Christman (Linda) of Lucedale, MS, Donald Christman of Savannah, GA and John Christman of Sangerfield, NY, five sisters; Charlotte Chichester of Cobleskill, Dorothy Dupree (Grant) of Perris, CA, Jane Taylor of Cobleskill, Marjorie Bucher of Port Richey, FL and Shirley LaMountian of Slingerlands and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon June 28, 2005 at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm prior to the funeral service.
