Florence T Holmes

Florence T. Holmes 91 died Monday July 20, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Caterina Martiniano. Florence was predeceased in 1965 by her husband John P. Holmes and also by her brothers Louis, Joseph, Dominic, Armando and Jule Martiniano and sisters, Constance Sirpilla, and Mary Selke. She is survived by her children, Rev. Thomas Holmes of Middleburg, John L. Holmes(Kathryn) of Woodbridge,VA and Richard J. Holmes (Patricia) of Fredericksburg, VA, grandchildren, Erin, Christopher and Jarrett Holmes, Brothers, Albert Martiniano of Az. and Arthur Martiniano of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning July 25, 2009 at 9:30 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady followed at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Church, 240 First Street, Scotia where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
