Floral Stewart

Floral A. Stewart 62, passed away on Monday September 20th at her home surrounded by her daughters and grandson.

Born in Warwick, NY, Floral was the daughter of the late Alexander Stewart and Florence (Mapes) Conklin.

A former residential aide for the Glen Eddy in Niskayuna for more than 15 years, Floral was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed Cooking, dancing, music and just spending time with her beloved family.

Beside her parents, Floral was also predeceased by a brother Leon Logan and a sister Tressie Conklin.

Floral is survived by her daughters Florence E. Smith (Robert) of Houston, TX and Yolanda Cruz of Schenectady, her grandchildren and great grandchildren David Mckeiver (Davion ), DeVown Hines (DeVown Jr and Trinitee ),Elejah Smith (Nyla ), Yolanda Imani Smith, Trent Smith and wife Chloe (Zachary),Robert Earl Smith Jr.(Valerie and Ava),Ali Lewis (Alaia) and Jazmin Lewis (Preston), her siblings, Bessie Smedley, Ethel Stewart, Georgiane Hasbrouck, Lisa Conklin Darlene Wisher, Alex (Ferby) Stewart, George Conklin and Mark Conklin and many beloved family members and friends

A visitation to celebrate Floral’s life will be held on Saturday Sept 25th from 2-4 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY
