Evelyn A Vrooman

Evelyn A. Vrooman 89 of Schoharie and formerly of Schenectady died Friday afternoon February 22nd at Cobleskill Regional Hospital after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah Knapp. A homemaker, Evelyn had also worked at the Country Squire Motel and Electric City Press. Evelyn was a member of the former Princetown Reformed Church and enjoyed Knitting and Ceramic's. Evelyn was predeceased in 1991 by her husband Marshall L. Vrooman Sr. Survivors include her children, Patricia M. Ingraham (Late Sonny) of Schoharie and Marshall Vrooman Jr. (Diane) of Bethlehem,Ga., three grandchildren, Terry Hurd (Andrew),Steven Vrooman(Pam) and Joseph Vrooman (Beth) and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon February 27th at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY with a visitation being held at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm prior to the funeral service.
