Eva Lucarelli

Eva E. Lucarelli, 94, of Altamont passed away on Saturday May 15, 2021 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schoharie, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Mabel (Kling) Sagendorf.

She was a bookkeeper for 35 years for the Pattersonville Phone Company, also serving on its board of directors. Eva was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady.

Eva had a great love for family, especially her great grandchildren. She was also passionate about cooking.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband John Lucarelli, one brother and four sisters.

The family would like to extend a “thank you” to Dr. John Nolan, Ashanti of Eddy Visiting Nurses and Sue and Melissa of Landmark Care for their special care of Eva.

Eva is survived by her daughter Cheryl Lucarelli of Altamont, her brother in law Arthur Lucarelli (Late Gloria) of Albany, her granddaughter Heather Masullo (Steven) and her three great grandchildren Katelyn, Andrew and Daniel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 11AM at St John the Evangelist Church 802 Union Street Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours by request.

Interment will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Eva’s memory to the church or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
