Eunice Mae Royer

Eunice Royer, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed peacefully on November 1 at the age of 92. Born on November 20, 1931 in Schenectady, NY. Eunice dedicated her life to serving others and cherishing time with family and friends.

A devoted nurse at Ellis and St Clares, Eunice was known for her compassion, warmth, and unwavering commitment to her patients and colleagues. Her gentle touch and caring nature made a difference in countless lives.

Eunice was happiest outdoors, whether golfing with friends, spending an afternoon at the bowling alley, or camping with family. Her love for these activities brought joy and laughter to everyone around her, creating memories that will live on.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken, Eunice is survived by her children, Ken Royer and Beth Van Skiver (Ronald), and her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, Scott Royer. Terra Sarnacki (Chad) kids Shepherd, Cadence. Eric Van Skiver (Jessica) and children Isley, Hudson. Jared Rogers (Megan) and kids Brendan, Blaire, Brooke. Brittany Van Skiver (Dizzy). Taylor Royer and daughter Hollie. Connor Royer and son Carson. Her family and friends will miss her dearly but carry her spirit with them always.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Carman Fire Department at carmanfire.org. A memorial service will be held on November 15th at Rotterdam United Methodist Church at 10am. Burial will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery following the memorial service.
