Eugene P Witts

EUGENE WITTS, age 83, entered into eternal life on January 8, 2017. A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was the youngest child of the late Mary (Androkavitz) and Stanley Witts Preceding Gene in death were sisters Josephine Brudzinski and Gladys Thibault, brother Chester Witts, all of Schenectady, New York and dear companion of 23 years, Patrick Clark of Cleveland. He is survived by brother William Witts and sisters Eleanor McLaine of Schenectady and Florence Conway of Littleton, Colorado and 11 nieces and nephews which include God children niece Mary Ann McManus of Littleton and great nephew Cory Thibault of Morgan Hill, California. After serving four years in the USAF, two of which were with the Nuclear Test Group in Eniwitok Atoll in the Marshall Islands, he relocated to Cleveland to continue his education while he was employed by the East Ohio Gas Company retiring in 1994 as Manager of Payrolls after 34 years of service. This enabled him to be a fixture at Indian ball games, his first love, missing one game from 1994 thru 2009. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Eugene Monday at 9AM at the Church of St.Adalbert 550 Lansing Street Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment with military honors will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Malachi Church 2459 Washington Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113.
