Ethel Lavoy

Ethel M. Lavoy 84 of Schenectady died Saturday March 19, 2005 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 17, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Adam and Theresa (Pravica) Zitzmann. Ethel attended Schenectady Schools and then was employed by the General Electric Company for over 40 years retiring in 1983. She was a former member of the G.E. ? century club and the Rotterdam Senior Citizens. She is survived by he two sons Robert Lavoy of Schenectady and Thomas Lavoy of Rotterdam and two grandsons, Robert Lavoy Jr. and Brian Lavoy both of Schoharie and several nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon March 23, 2005 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Internment will be in Parkview Cemetery.
