Ernestina S Siver (Sanchez)

Ernestina S. Siver, 75, passed away on Thursday April 19th at Broward Health North in Pompano Beach, Fl. Born in San Juan de Dios, Panama, Ernestina was the daughter of the late Marcos and Nicolasa (Valdes) Sanchez. A homemaker, Ernestina was a former employee of the former Campbell Plastics in Rotterdam, NY. A volunteer with Ladies of Charity of Schenectady, she was a member of Christ the King Church in Guilderland, NY, and took great joy in gardening,painting and her volunteer work. Predeceased in 2002 by her husband John Siver, Ernestina is survived by her beloved children; Stephanie Carroll (Richard) of Rotterdam, Valerie Faraone (Philip) of Rotterdam, John Siver of Princetown and David Siver of Pompano Beach, Fl., her grandchildren; Adam Faraone and Allysa Carroll and her siblings, Fidel Sanchez, Jorge Sanchez and Gilberto Sanchez all of Panama and Emerita Norris of Illinois. She also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Friday evening April 27th at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Funeral services will be held at 6 pm following the visitation. Interment will be held at Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ernestina's memory to the American Cancer Society for Multiple Myeloma, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12210 or to the Schenectady City Mission Family Life Center, 425 Hamilton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305
