Erman J. Crandall, 82, of Rotterdam died Sunday April 3, 2011 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Scotia, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick and Katherine (Mitchell) Crandall. Erman was self employed as a General Contractor for several years. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Schenectady. Erman was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed Hunting, Bowling and Fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Keefer) Crandall whom he married November 28, 1958, three sons Jeffrey Crandall of Rotterdam, Michael Crandall (Donna) of Rotterdam and Gary Crandall (Helen) of Rotterdam, two daughters Christine Naparty of Rotterdam and Wendy Crandall-Cookingham of Rotterdam, one brother Edward Crandall of Schenectady, also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling Hours will be Tuesday evening 5-7PM at the funeral home.
