Emma R Knack

Emma R. Knack, 97, formerly of Princetown passed away on Sunday November 10, 2013 at the Kingsway Arms Nursing Home in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Allan and Emma (Morhoff) Reinhart. She attended and graduated from Draper Schools. Emma also attended the GE secretarial school and worked at GE until she got married. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Rotterdam.. Emma was a devoted wife for 58 years to her late husband Augustus Knack whom she married on July 27, 1940. She is also predeceased by her sister Hazel Vedder. She was a loving mother to two daughters Carol Casagrand (William) of Glenville and Elsa Craven (Herman) of Princetown and was also a loving grandmother to Amy Heap ( Scott), Sara Vautrian ( Tom), Kateri Casagrande and Debra Casagrande as well as a loving great grandmother to 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several niece and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A Calling Hour will be 10-11am prior to the service. Internment will be in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady.
