Emily Durand (Savignano)

Emily Savignano Durand, Age 97, formerly of Schenectady passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 in Portland, TN. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High. She worked for the ALCO & participated in their war effort. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and friend and her fondest memories were sharing her home with family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Nicola & Teresa Savignano, 3 brothers and 7 sisters, her childhood sweetheart Harry Durand, Sr., and granddaughter Olivia Durand. She is survived by her sister Virginia Zampella, her two sons Harry & David and her grandchildren Emilee, Phillip, Joseph and Alexander and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 7th at 11 AM at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 2501 Troy Schenectady Road, Schenectady, NY.
