Emily Virginia Pudvah (Loeber)

October 10, 1926 — March 24, 2016

Emily V. (Loeber) Pudvah 89 passed away Thursday morning March 24th at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, Emily was the daughter of the late David and Katherine (Damn) Loeber and a graduate of Draper High School. After graduation Emily went to work for the General Electric Company as a secretary in the payroll department for over 44 years in Schenectady, King of Prussia, PA and Norristown, PA. She met her husband Robert, though mutual friends and they were married to each other for over 57 years. Emily enjoyed camping trips , square dancing up to 4 times a week with Bob and traveling in the 48 states, South America, Canada and Europe. Emily was also a member of the GE Quarter Century Club. The youngest of seven children, Emily was predeceased in 2009 by her husband Robert R. Pudvah, her brothers; Arnold Loeber, David Loeber, Ernest Loeber, and Conrad Loeber and her sister; Mildred Spadaro. Emily is survived by her brother Richard Loeber of Sarasota, Fl. and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 30th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in Fisher's Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY Contributions may be made in Emily's memory to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205.
