Emily Boscia Ferguson 82 of Rotterdam died Saturday October 15, 2005 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Marie (Tucci) Boscia and a 1940 graduate of Draper High School. Emily worked for New York State Department of Tax and Finance as a corporate Tax Examiner for over 30 years before her retirement in 1990. She was a devoted wife and mother with her life centered on her family and also a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She was predeceased in 1961 by her husband Stanley A. Ferguson whom she married May 23, 1948 and a sister Eva Repice. Survivor's include three children; Deborah L. Kottke and husband Kenneth of Charlton, Denise J. Ferguson and Fianc? Nicholas Maura of Duanesburg and Stanley A. Ferguson and wife Tanya of Pomona, NY, a brother Nicholas Boscia of Guilderland, two sisters Eleanor Mankes and Elvira Swits both of Rotterdam, three grandchildren; Sarah Bianchi, Emily Moss and Kenneth C. Kottke, six great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Ethan, Rachel, Alana, Deborah and Abigail and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday Morning October 19, 2005 at 10 am at Broadway United Methodist Church, 2140 Broadway, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY on Tuesday evening October 18, 2005 from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will be in Esperance Cemetery.
