Elvira A Dorazio

Elvira A. Dorazio, 87, of Rotterdam passed away on Thursday November 21, 2013 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Biagio and Lucia (DiStasio) Mongillo. She was a graduate of Draper Schools. Elvira was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Schenectady. Elvira is predeceased by two sisters Ida Dominelli and Eleanor Skalsky and 3 brothers Edward Mongillo, John Mongillo and Sam Mongillo. She is survived by her loving husband Frank D. Dorazio whom she married February 16, 1952, one son Thomas F. Dorazio(Louise) of Dennis, MA, one daughter Patricia Ann Dorazio of Jamesville, NY, one sister Adeline Mongillo of Albany, also survived by two grandchildren Matthew Dorazio and Megan Dorazio as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be Tuesday 1PM at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road Schuylerville, NY (Please arrive at 12:45 at the main entrance). There will be no calling hours by request. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Elvira's memory to the American Heart Association 440 New Karner Road Albany, NY 12205. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. .
