Elsie A Fabian

Elsie A. Fabian 100 formerly of Rotterdam died Wednesday afternoon March 12th at her home at Kingsway Manor. Born in Schenectady, Elsie was the daughter of the late Reinhold and Helen Schultz. A homemaker, Elsie had worked for the Town of Rotterdam as an accountant and assistant tax collector for several years. Elsie was predeceased on August 31, 1975 by her husband Paul E. Fabian Sr. and in 1995 was predeceased by her son Paul E. Fabian Jr. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fabian of Rotterdam and her grandchildren, John S. Fabian (Maryl), Sharon M. Monroe (David) both of Rotterdam, Sally E. Fabian of Andover, MA and Gail Boyle (Jeff) of California, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning March 18, 2008 at 10am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Kingsway Manor assisted Living Activity Fund, 357 Kings Road, Schenectady, NY 12304 or to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
