Ellsworth E. Tweedie 89, died Monday December 19th at The Grand Nursing Home in Guilderland, NY
Born and educated in Albany, Ellsworth was the son of the late Ellsworth and Ida (Wasson) Tweedie.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, Ellsworth worked as a Design Draftsman Engineer for Cooper Surgical for Many years prior to his retirement.
A former member of the Masonic Order, Ellsworth enjoyed his motorcycles and camping.
Predeceased in 2017 by his beloved wife Barbara (French) Tweedie, Ellsworth is survived by his son Brian Tweedie (Late Pam) of Rotterdam, his nephew Scott Tweedie of CT and several other nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 7th from 11 to 12 noon at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Service for Ellsworth will begin at 12 noon.
Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
