Elizabeth Bond

Elizabeth (Elgie) Bond 77 formerly of Ravena, died Friday afternoon May 9th at St Peters Hospital after a long illness. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Augusts and Lillian (Brevard) Elgie. A homemaker, Elizabeth's life was centered on her family and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years Richard J. Bond Sr. in 1993. Survivors include her children, Cindy Bassett (Harold) of Troy, Gail Bump (Robert) of Niskayuna, Cheryl Lembo of Selkirk, BilliJo Flebbe (Ronald) of Pa., BettyJo Bond of Schenectady and Richard Bond Jr. (Kathy) of Halfmoon, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon May 13, 2008 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 12 to 1pm prior to the service. Interment in Viewland Cemetery.
