Elinor Squires

Elinor Squires,82 passed away on Tuesday morning March 8, 2022 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY.

Born and educated in Jefferson, NY, Elinor was the daughter of the late Jesse and Fanny (Lewis) Roe and attended the Jefferson School District.

A homemaker, Elinor was employed for over 22 years at the former Campbell Plastic in Schenectady and later worked for several years for Lockheed Martin in Niskayuna prior to her retirement in 2005. Devoted to her family, she enjoyed all family gatherings and the Wednesday night dinners with the family.

Predeceased by a grandson Andrew James Squires and her14 brothers and sisters, Elinor is survived by her children, Deborah Mazzoccone (James), Floyd F. Squires (Ella) and Jeffrey Squires (Jill), her grandchildren, Steven Mazzoccone (Megan), Nicole Ackerson (George), Timothy Squires, Jaymee Squires, Daniel Squires (Caitlyn) Ryan Squires and Kaylie Squires and her many nieces and nephews.

Services for Elinor will be private at her request

Interment will be in Charlotteville Cemetery.
