Elaine Pittman

Elaine E. (Harris) Pittman 79 of Mumford St. died Monday March 7, 2005 at home after a long illness. Born and educated in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Griffin and Elizabeth Harris. A homemaker, Elaine was a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a music lover who enjoyed singing. Survivors include her beloved husband Curlen Pittman, a brother Cyril Harris and wife Agnes of Schenectady and a sister, Marguerite Thornton of Washington, DC and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Elaine was also predeceased by three brothers; Alphonso Harris, Edward Harris and Griffin Harris and a sister; Ruth Green. Funeral services will be held Monday morning March 14, 2005 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Sunday evening March 13,2005 from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park.
