Edna Mcdonald

Edna McDonald, 90, of Williams Street Schenectady died Sunday at St. Clares Hospital. Edna was born in Schenectady; she was the daughter of the late Joseph Manns and Elizabeth (Klobe) Manns. She was employed as a sales clerk for many years at the former Denby's and Wallace Department stores. Prior to that Edna was employed for GE in Schenectady during World War 2. Edna is predeceased by her husband George McDonald whom she married July 29, 1939. Survivors include one daughter Sharon Memoli( Tony) of Rotterdam, 4 Grandchildren- Mark Memoli, Robert Memoli (Anne), John Memoli ( Marjorie), Lou Memoli ( Melissa), 5 great Grandchildren-Joseph, Brittnay, David, Kevin and Matthew. Funeral services will be Wednesday 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be Wednesday 9-10AM at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Altamont.
