Edmund F. Mack Sr., 84 of Albany and formerly of Schenectady died Monday evening November 5th at St Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mary Mack and a graduate of Draper Schools. A Navy veteran of WWII, Edmund worked for the General Electric Company for over 40 years before retiring from the Glass Shop in 1989. A devoted caregiver and family man he was a member of the ? century of the GE. Edmund was predeceased in 2001 by his wife of 56 years Mary E. (Hall) Mack. and was also predeceased by a son Carl. He is survived by his children, Edmund Mack Jr. of Cobleskill, Richard Mack (Linda) of Milford MI., Rosemary Smith (William) of Altamont, Mary Vedder (John Dzuba) of Charleston, NY and Kathleen Mack of Albany, 6 grandchildren, Anthony Mack, Paul Mack, James Vedder, Jeff Mack, Alan Vedder and Edmund Mack 3rd, a sister Anne Kuretich of Milwaukee, WI. and several nieces and nephews, Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning November 10th at 8:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 9 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Bradt Street, Schenectady where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 4 to 7 pm. Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna, NY
