Edith M. Bell, 88, of Waterford passed away on Saturday November 5, 2011. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Swatling) Male. She was a member of the Waterford United Methodist Church. Edith is predeceased by her husband Francis J. Bell, one son Theodore Bell, three brothers-Albert Male, Richard Male and Walter Male and three sisters Martha Matula, Marion Pangburn and Ida May Male. She is survived by one son Robert Bell of Schenectady, two daughters Karen Flanigan of Waterford and Penelope Murphy of Waterford, one sister Edna Greulich of Carman as well as 7 Grandchildren-Kelly, Ronald, Karen Jean, James, Jamie Flanigan, Patrick Negus and Sherrie Marmaduke, 7 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Tuesday 12-2PM prior to the service. Internment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
