Earl Pittman, 51, of Wing Ave, Schenectady died suddenly on Saturday November 12, 2005. Earl was the son of the Late Odell Pittman Sr. and Mary (Watkins) Pittman. He was born in Schenectady. Earl was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady. He was a 3 time Athletic Champion in Basketball, Track and Swimming at Mont Pleasant. Earl was self employed as a Carpenter. He was a member of the Schenectady Boys Club in the 60's. Earl was a coach at the Jerry Burrell Park in Schenectady. He also was a Unicycle Rider. Earl was a member of the Consecration Temple in Schenectady. At the Church, he served as an all around Volunteer. Survivors include his wife Shelia Williams Pittman of Schenectady, four sons Ghani Pittman, Earl Hooper Pittman, Alphonzo Pittman all of Schenectady and Rohzell Smith of Beacon, NY, two daughters Stasia Pittman and Catoria Pittman both of Schenectady, 11 Brothers and Sisters- Rose Gibson of Troy, Odell Pittman of Beacon, NY, Cynthia Carter of Kansas City, Darlene Pittman of Schenectady, Roger Pittman of Saratoga, Jesse Pittman, Jean Pittman, Jane Isaac, Keith Pittman, Theresa Pollack all of Schenectady and Daryl Pittman of Beacon, NY, also survived by 3 Granddaughters and 1 Grandson, 2 Godchildren Christina Lloyd and Taymica Terry as well as a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral Services will be Friday at 1PM at Consecration Temple 1312 State Street Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be held from 12-1 prior to the service. Internement will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Colonie. Contribution's can be made in Earl's memory to Consecration Temple 1312 State Street Schenectady, NY 12304.
