E Lynn Cavanaugh (Leguire)

Lynn Cavanaugh 74, passed away Tuesday evening January 2nd at her home surrounded by her family. Born and educated in Schenectady, Lynn was the daughter of the late Francis Amos and Ethel (Marx) Leguire and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. A former Supervisor for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany for several years, Lynn loved spending her time with her family and friends. Beside Lynn's Mom and Dad, she was also predeceased by her sister Ellen Rounds. Lynn is survived by her husband of 24 years, Edward T. Cavanaugh who she married in 1993, her sons; James Sargalis (Janine) of Burnt Hills and Richard Sargalis(Rebecca) of Durham, NC., her step children; Dawn Cavanaugh of Schenectady, Dean Cavanaugh(Lori) of Mills River, NC and Donald Cavanaugh of Schenectady, her brother; Charles Leguire of Schenectady, her grandchildren Jennifer and Justin Sargalis and Rory and Gregory Sargalis, her great niece Kayte Narbon-Segal (Brandon), and her step grandchildren; Emma and Johnathan Cavanaugh. A celebration of Lynn's life will be held on Monday morning January 8th at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park Cemetery in Scotia. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lynn's memory to St Jude' s Children Research Hospital or to Community Hospice.
