Douglas A. Larned 71 of Schenectady died Sunday March 25, 2007 at the Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Albany. Born in Schenectady, Doug was the son of the late William and Jennie Larned. An Army veteran of WWII, Douglas worked as a concrete mason for most of his life and later worked for Hope House in Schenectady. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and an avid NASCAR fan. While in the service Doug established a supply system for heavy equipment. He is survived by his dear friends Charles and Betty McNulty Sr. of Schenectady, Charles and Doris McNulty Jr. of Mariaville, Brian McNulty of Schenectady and Deborah and Leo Pfohl of Niskayuna. Funeral services will be private. Interment in Memorys Garden. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of choice in his memory. Arrangements are by Bond Funeral Home, Schenectady, NY.
