Dorothy N Tierney-Bronk

Dorothy N. Tierney-Bronk, 86, of Deltona, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, FL. Born in Port Ewen, NY, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lillian (Neice) Hornbeck. Dorothy was a graduate of Kingston High School and later worked as an administrator at General Electric in Schenectady. A former member of Albany Street United Methodist Church and Stanford United Methodist Church, Dorothy also belonged to the GE Quarter Century Club and she was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Dorothy was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Tierney in 1981 and Melvin Bronk in 2000. She leaves behind her daughter, Eileen Savage (Christopher) of Deltona, FL and her son, James Tierney (Jodie) of Pewaukee, WI, as well as 4 grandchildren, Matthew Savage, James Tierney, Abigail Tierney and Jeffrey Tierney and 1 great grandchild, Zoey Savage. A graveside service will be on Thursday, April 23rd at 2:30pm at Schenectady Memorial Park, 556 Giffords Church Road, Rotterdam.
