Dorothy Rogers (Rogers)

Dorothy Rogers,87 died on Thursday June 24th at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born and educated in Springfield, MA, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Viola Cornelius.
A former registered charge nurse for many hospitals in NYC, Dorothy retired from the Kennedy Center in New York.
Beside her mother, Dorothy was predeceased recently by her sister Cynthia Tyrell.
She is survived by her son Marlon Rogers and his wife Barbara Kugler of Schenectady, brothers Harold Cornelius of NJ and LeRoy Smith of SC ,6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Friday July 2nd from 7 to 9 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave. Schenectady, NY.
