Dorothy Hansen

Dorothy M. Hansen 87 of Troy died Saturday morning December 15th at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Loretta Loftus. Dorothy was entertainers fondly know as Spoonsie and had a background in Vaudeville. Dorothy was a lovable Irish woman that would not listen to anyone and was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Troy. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Robert Dalpe in 1997. Survivors include her children, Edmond Dalpe of Schenectady, Robert Dalpe of CA, William Egan of Troy, Richard Hansen of Albany and Loretta Hansen of Utica and 4 grandchildren. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning December 20, 2007 at St. Anthony's Church, 28 State Street, Troy at 9:30 am with interment to follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
