Dorothy Gillespie

Dorothy E. Gillespie,67 of Schenectady passed away under hospice care on April 1, 2021.

Born and educated in Schenectady, NY, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Erwin A. Zahn Jr. and Wanda (Leja) Zahn. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, Dorothy received her associate’s degree at Schenectady County Community College.

A former employee at the McCulloch Chainsaw Factory in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Dorothy retired from Bank of America as a Head Analyst after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her son Justin P. Gillespie (Kathleen Ordway) of Schenectady, a grandson Alex Gillespie of Schenectady, her brother Andy Zahn III (Ann) of Lolo Montana and her 3 nephews David Zahn, Tim Zahn and Dan Zahn all of Montana.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, September 23rd at 2:30PM
