Dorothy "Dolly" Lewandowski (Cooke)

Dorothy "Dolly" Lewandowski 79, passed away Sunday morning March 25, 2018 at St Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany, NY Born and educated in Middleburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Osterhout) Cooke and a graduate of Middleburgh High School. A homemaker, Dolly was loved and adored by everyone she ever met. She was an excellent cook and a wonderful artistic painter. She was extremely proud of the bread that she would bake for her family and friends because it was enjoyed so much. Predeceased by her sons; Curtis and Charles Lewandowski III, her grandson; David Longo and her siblings; Sally Cooke, Leona Mullaney, Shubel Cooke and Mary Cooke, Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Charles J. Lewandowski Jr. of Duanesburg, her devoted children; Helen Murphy (Gerald) of Rotterdam, Elizabeth A. Longo (David) of Duanesburg and Corey J Lewandowski (Tricia) of Schenectady, her cherished grandchildren; Alicia , Erin and Breanne Lewandowski, Sarah and JJ Murphy, Nick and Heather Longo and Josepha Macherone, and great grandchildren; Andrew Longo and Gabriella Macherone. Dorothy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held for her family on Thursday, March 29th at Bond Funeral Home in Schenectady, NY Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Colonie, NY.
