Doris E Sokack

Doris E. Sokach of Tryon Avenue died peacefully August 7, 2004 at Ellis Hospital with her family by her side after a brief illness. Born in Saratoga, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Cody. A homemaker, Doris enjoyed rug hooking and loved gardening. Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, John Sokach. She was the loving mother of Timi D. Wais of East Greenbush and John T. Sokach of Schenectady, the cherished grandmother of Jennifer Redonnett and husband Corey of Salem ,MA , Eric Wais of Beverly ,MA, loving great grandmother of Avery Redonnett of Salem, MA and dear friend of Robert Burke of Scotia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening 7:30 pm at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY .Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 pm prior to the funeral service. Private burial will be in Schenectady Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Doris memory to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309
