Doris Dilorenzo

Doris DiLorenzo, 81, of Duanesburg, passed away Tuesday June 3, 2008 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gertrude (Coppernoll) Schiemer. Doris was employed as a receptionist for the General Electric Co. Research and Development in Niskayuna until her retirement. She was an active member of the Duanesburg Congregation of the Jehovah's Witness. Doris enjoyed Photography and Needlework. She is predeceased by her husband Dominick DiLorenzo whom she married September 28, 1946. Doris is survived by her two daughters Dale Fuller ( Thomas) of Duanesburg and Diane Estill ( Carl) of Duanesburg, one brother Kent Schiemer ( Valerie) of Schenectady, one sister Meryl Cummings of Potsdam, her stepmother Lois Schiemer of Rotterdam also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be Friday evening at 7PM at the Niskayuna Congregation of the Jehovah's Witness 1720 Albany Street Schenectady with Robert Dietz officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Inurnment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
